  • Individual therapy sessions are $200 per session. Family therapy sessions are $250 per session.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a "superbill" (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider regarding your specific out-of-network mental health benefits.

  • Therapy with teens requires building trust. My first priority is establishing a strong, confidential relationship with your teen so they feel safe opening up. I use approaches that are engaging and relevant to their world, rather than just traditional talk therapy.

  • Parent involvement is crucial, but it looks different for every family. While the content of your teen's sessions remains confidential to build trust, I collaborate with parents regularly to provide updates on treatment goals, offer parenting strategies, and occasionally bring the family together for joint sessions when appropriate.

  • Yes, confidentiality is a core component of therapy. What we discuss in sessions stays between us, with a few legal and ethical exceptions (such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or suspected abuse), which we will discuss in detail during our first meeting.

  • Standard sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Most clients start by meeting once a week to build momentum and establish a strong foundation, and we can adjust the frequency as progress is made.

  • I use a secure client portal through SimplePractice to keep everything organized and easy to access. Once you get started, you’ll receive a link to your personal portal where you can complete all intake forms, sign documents, view upcoming appointments, and access receipts or superbills.
