Dialectical Behavioral Health (DBT)

  • DBT is designed to help individuals who experience emotions very intensely. It focuses on teaching specific skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Regulating intense mood swings, reducing impulsive behaviors, improving communication and relationships, and tolerating distress without making things worse.

  • We will focus on learning and practicing concrete skills. You'll leave sessions with specific strategies to handle difficult situations and intense feelings.

  • Individuals who feel overwhelmed by their emotions or struggle with frequent interpersonal conflict.
