DBT is designed to help individuals who experience emotions very intensely. It focuses on teaching specific skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Regulating intense mood swings, reducing impulsive behaviors, improving communication and relationships, and tolerating distress without making things worse.

We will focus on learning and practicing concrete skills. You'll leave sessions with specific strategies to handle difficult situations and intense feelings.

Individuals who feel overwhelmed by their emotions or struggle with frequent interpersonal conflict.
